The User Guide

The User Guide makes our customers  learn more features about their phone and how to maximize its usability and functionality. They can also download a PDF file of the User Guide for 3.1 and 3.2 ColorOS.

 Spare Parts Price

I think this is one of the most convenient tools on the customer support website. Customers won’t be scratching their heads as to how much they will be spending if they have their phone repaired. It’s also great since they know that price is a fixed one. The Spare Parts Tool gives them a list of Parts Name as well as the price for reference.  This will save us time explaining and we can avoid complaints of price comparisons.

And we should never forget that even those that are already out of warranty can still be repaired without paying the labor cost.

 Warranty Status

Sometimes our customers forget when they have bought their phones or have misplaced or lost the receipts making warranty claims a hassle. True story. Good thing that the Warranty Status Tool makes it easy for OPPO users to check about the warranty. All they need is just to type in the IMEI number of their OPPO phone and key in a validation code or CAPTCHA to know if they are still covered with the 1-year warranty.

We all know that the quickest way to get the IMEI of the phone is to dial *#06#. The other ways of getting it will be at the bottom of the phone’s box and on the setting of the phone.

 Software Update

If an OPPO user is thinking of updating the phone to the latest software, this tool will be a big help. Our customers can choose the model that they have on the list of phones and just simply download the software update. There’s also a guideline that they can read on how to download the update on their phone if they have difficulties or confusions in doing so.

Repair Status

This is one of the headaches for our customers and sometimes for us too. We all know how this can be frustrating to the customers who send their phone for repair and wondering when they could have it again. Good thing that the Repair Status tool is included in the customer support website. This tool helps them track the status just by typing in the IMEI of their phone or the Repair Order Number and will automatically give them an update. A validation key or a CAPTCHA is also needed for security purposes.  No more waiting on the phone just to talk with customer service representative. They can quickly do it by themselves. In a flash.

☞ One has to take note though that only the latest repair status in the last 30 days is provided and will be given an update.

☞ The Repair Order Number can be found in the Repair form delivered by OPPO Service Team.

Service Center 

This online tool provides the list of service centers around the customer’s location. There’s an option for an OPPO user to select the province and city which will result to more detailed location of the service centers. This tool also provides Google Maps for direction, name of the service centers, phone numbers, and even business hours. 

This is a great one stop shop for all customers. It makes a greater impact to include customer support. When on call with the customer, best to promote the website and explain in brief what are the things that they can do on the website and why this would be more convenient for them.

We all know that majority of the customers stay out or avoid using this channel because most feel secure when talking to human beings. Also, some doubt their ability to comprehend the guidelines and others are scared that it can be too technical.

One of our tasks is to promote the website as super easy to use and that most are explain in a less technical manner. If we need to guide them at first, then we do so.
